Over 50 years of speed skating excellence.

Mission Racers Speed Skating Club has been part of the Mission community for decades, developing skaters and strengthening our community through the sport. Along the way, our club has been connected to athletes who reached the highest levels of competition.

Two notable Olympians linked to our club and region include:

  • Eden Donatelli‑Green – A Mission native and celebrated short track speed skater who competed in multiple Winter Olympics, earning silver and bronze medals at the 1988 Calgary Games when short track was a demonstration sport. She also won numerous World Championship medals and has inspired generations of skaters. Wikipedia

  • Kathy Gordon – Competed in long track speed skating for Canada at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, representing her home province of British Columbia. Team Canada

Through the years, Mission Racers has remained committed to its core values: inclusion, skill development, teamwork, and fun.
